Finite Element Analysis techniques are used by our engineers to aid in their assessment of the structural efficiency of our structures in meeting the high performance targets expected of our products.
CATIA geometry is imported into MSC. Patran. This is then meshed and analysed using MSC. Nastran.
These figures show the results from an assessment of the buckling characteristics of a fuselage shear web.
Overall structural behaviour is also considered using FEA techniques.
